When Jessica moved to Dallas in 2015, she had been bartending for 11+ years and didn’t have a clue our $3 trillion Multifamily industry even existed.  She did, however, know that she was ready to pursue a new opportunity where she could build a career.

She began her multi-family journey as an Account Manager in 2015, selling flooring installation services, and building site-level relationships. After only 9 months she was asked to help greenfield a Multifamily Countertop Division. For the next 4 years she called on Owner Groups, Regional Managers, Asset Managers, and Construction Directors, and General Contractors where she learned the Value-add/Capex side of Multifamily. She helped drive processes and offered innovative ideas to help this division stand out. Once the countertop division was up and running, she moved into a Business Development role to grow business on the corporate level. Then after a company restructure, Jessica was promoted to a Sales Management position.

In 2020, She was honored to be nominated for the AAGD Supplier Individual of the Year award at the annual Sapphire Awards dinner.

Jessica made a move into the Single Family / Builder channel in 2021.  She was able to pull from her previous 6 years of experience while also broadening her knowledge as she sold turnkey design and interior finish solutions to new home builders. While the experience was rewarding, the Single Family industry moves at a slower pace as compared to Multifamily, and she found herself missing the comradery and relationships Multifamily affords.

Jessica joined Dixie Carpet in March 2022 as Regional Sales Director for our National Team. She’s been tasked with helping grow the Dallas market as well as connecting the dots between Dixie markets nationwide. While managing existing customer partnerships and building new ones, she is also involved in strategic due diligence for opportunities to move into new markets.  Above all, she’s doing what she loves, which is cultivating and growing relationships within our amazing industry.

Jessica currently serves on the Community Service Committee, has earned her Supplier Success Certificate, recently completed the Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS) classes, and looks forward to earning her CAS designation.

From where she started to where she is now, her motto has always been the same:

“Being good for your customer, is good for you.”
